Personikas — Who are you?

personikas Personikas — Who are you?Your personika is the persona you project into the online world. It is not a fictitious identity. It is a true picture of you (or your business) that is intentionally crafted to build your brand presence. The personika has several aspects, but the most important is your SuperPip (your “big idea”) and your Golden Hoop.

Yep, well I think people don’t have to look far to see my personika! it’s kind of funny though to see the difference in personality my younger friends see though. They don’t know the bigshot biz guy part of it, just the crazy serial entrepreneur part.

Personikas – sounds like a Russian sex doll! But I like the idea that with a little photoshop, a camera phone and some imagination, we can all be 18 again and hanging out in places we were too scared to visit when we were really 18!

I’ve often wondered how to communicate my “big idea” so that others would be able to understand me and my purpose. Sure my website is an extension of who I am, but I suspect it doesnt convey the true essense of a very deep and meaningful mission for me in my path in life. As I look to be an example of love and touch the lives of people I come into contact with, I suspect my personika may get me placed into a “bucket” of those who almost think like me but miss my point. I just have to figure out a way of branding that sets me apart. Help!!!! LOL.

My kudos to you for a wonderful site. Peace.

I like this word too! It makes me want to build a new pessonal business card website for international business.
This word also makes me realize that my silly website
http://www.redfishbluefish.com
reflects the personika’s of the tribe that runs the place and the kinds of
tribes that we attract. Fun loving people who want good food and an upbeat
atmosphere.
As it expands, I really want it to be interactive, so the neighborhood will know the personika of the ownereship and have a place to express their personikas.
What a cool language you have brought forth. Yea!

I wish I had read your site before starting our UrbanLife blog site. It’s rather difficult to create a consistent personality online. Looking back on what I’ve written I don’t know if the author am Human or Leporidae. A scary place to reside. Thanks for the insight and I look forward to planting the seeds of a targeted writer. Don’t know what form it will take though… perhaps meriones unguiculatus… they are so cute you know.

“Your personika” looks fabulous. I like it. I should work on my personika soon.. :)

FYI James and I are still refining the Personika tool we plan to teach. I’m not completely there yet. It was hugely helpful, though, when sitting down to write my Facebook and Linkedin profiles to have an outline structure already set up. Different social media sites make slightly different demands, so having the Personika ready-built helps maintain consistency. The key to all of this is to be intentional about self-presentation, just as you would be in choosing your clothes for a job interview, or a date.

James and Jon
Justin and I, after having been inspired by you and some of the other great speakers at the Marketing Seminar in L.A., came up with “Fast and Frugal, your website guys”. No doubt inspired by some of the great comedy teams of the past. Justin of course is “Fast” as he is the idea man, and I’m “Frugal” the money advice man. An integral part of our vision is to help everyone with their finances and to give them good advice through newsletters, etc., on ways to save on taxes with an online business, even a very simple one. The whole conference was electric, and I’m still getting jolts.

I absolutely looooove the idea of the “personika.” Something that really struck me when I heard you speak, Jon and James, is the idea of tapping into the mystical, imaginative, ethereal aspect of your brand. In other words, we’re creating our image and our perception in the eyes of our customer…or potential customer…just as we would weave a fairy tale or a story. And it’s in the place of imagination that we can sell because really we sell ideas, not products at all. I was just on a call with my sales team and we were talking about this concept of selling an idea vs. a product and playing into the dreams, fantasies, and desires of the consumer. I think a stronger connection can be built with your customer when you’re more tapped into their imaginations and “ideas” given that we buy with emotion, not logic.

Having seen and heard James and Jon in L.A., I felt their sincere and warming presence. I felt like I had known them for a long time and I liked them. I felt like I was an instant member of a kind family and no longer an outsider. This is what I would like to convey to everyone as I continue on this life journey of creating beauty in this world.

The peronsika that I want to create on line is: The charisma, caring, power and beauty of a bengal tiger with the energy and enthusiasm of a live wire.
